This year, The Sundancer will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023. The Sundancer benefits Fatima's 1,300 parish families and 250 children in grades preschool through 8th. This year's special focus is a beautiful and energy-saving renovation of the school interior, which has not seen a meaningful update in the school's 60-year history.

Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School engages every student in challenging and meaningful learning experiences. We inspire students to be compassionate and responsible individuals who are accepted into Denver's most respected secondary schools. Families build authentic and lasting relationships within our school community. We bring life to learning and learning to life.

Our Lady of Fatima Parish has been an anchor of the community since 1958. Beginning in a converted carport on Miller Street, the parish today supports vibrant ministries to thousands in our community. Whether providing outstanding, moral education or comforting seniors in nursing homes - from feeding hundreds of struggling families to introducing toddlers to the love of God - the Fatima congregation meets the spiritual and material needs of Lakewood every day.

Funds raised from The Sundancer support the Parish and School in a 50-50 split. However, we are excited to announce that this year's paddle raiser will directly support our school's interior renovation. This project, begun in late 2022, is already bringing light and life to our school, improving the building's energy efficiency while teaching our children the foundations of our faith on every wall. The Sundancer is our biggest fundraising event. Your gracious contribution will positively affect the lives of all our students and families.

The two most impactful ways to support The Sundancer:

1. Become an event sponsor: By becoming an event sponsor you or your company will be highlighted as a top supporter of our community at the event and throughout the school year.

2. Donate to the silent auction: We receive donations such as vacation getaways, entertainment packages, sporting event tickets, wellness packages, gift certificates, themed baskets and professional services. All donated items will be featured in our mobile bidding platform viewable by over 1,300 families.
