Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a Montessori-based program designed for children ages 3-12 with a meditative approach to growing one's personal relationship with God through contemplative prayer. The beauty of this program is it allows the Holy Spirit to speak to the children so they can come to know and love God.

For our 2nd graders and up who are preparing for the sacraments of First Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Eucharist, we have Elementary Sacrament Religious Education classes on Sunday mornings from 10:15-11:45am which will focus on preparing students for these sacraments. Through engaging lessons and materials, children will be invited into a more intimate relationship with God and a deeper discovery of a life of faith nourished by the Word of God.

Ignite is a group designed specifically for our 4th and 5th graders who have been welcomed into the fullness of the life of the Church through the completion of their Sacraments of Initiation. Ignited by the Holy Spirit and nourished by Jesus in the Eucharist, 4th and 5th graders are invited to come explore what it means to be an Apostle of Jesus, sent into the world as witnesses to the faith.

Latin for Totally Yours, Totus Tuus is a week-long summer program dedicated to the evangelization of our children and youth. The mission is to inspire in young people a true longing for holiness, a deep desire for conversion, and a personal renewal through prayer.

Totus Tuus brings a team of college students and seminarians to our parish for fellowship and catechesis. Mass and confessions are offered daily for the grade school program. Cost for the grade school program is $50, or $40 for OLF Parishioners. Cost for the middle/high school program is $20.

Vacation Bible School is a week-long summer religious education program for children grades K-6. Cost is $60, or $50 for OLF Parishioners.

We are thankful for all the volunteers that make VBS a success, including adults, middle school students, and high school students. All volunteers age 18+ must pass a background check and complete Safe Environment training.
