RCIA is for all those who are interested in learning more about what Catholics believe, are considering entering into the Catholic Church, or come from a Catholic family but never received Baptism, Confirmation or First Communion.
The aim will be to learn the major tenets of the Catholic Faith including in-depth discovery of the Apostle's Creed, the understanding of the meaning and effects of the seven Sacraments, the deep historical, mystical and ritual character of the Holy Catholic Faith, including the Biblical roots of Catholicism dating back to the 1st century.
Emphasis will be placed on intellectual, moral and spiritual development in order to prepare the soul to meet the mystery of God in its ‘depth, height, width and breadth’, and make it a worthy dwelling place for the Lord of Goodness and Glory: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
