Carlo Acutis: Roadmap to Reality explores the life and legacy of the soon-to-be Saint Carlo Acutis and how he navigated the modern world. It tackles urgent technology-related questions, examining how the virtual landscape threatens our fundamental understanding of what it means to be human.

The film also tracks the journey of a group of high school students who embark on a two-week pilgrimage from North Dakota to Italy to visit Carlo's tomb. A requirement for their pilgrimage: disengage from technology and leave their phones at home.
