Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (Ages 3-12)

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a Montessori-based program designed for children ages 3-12 with a meditative approach to growing one's personal relationship with God through contemplative prayer. The beauty of this program is it allows the Holy Spirit to speak to the children so they can come to know and love God.

Elementary Sacrament RE (Grades 2 & Up)

For our 2nd graders and up who are preparing for the sacraments of First Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Eucharist, we have Elementary Sacrament Religious Education classes on Sunday mornings from 10:15-11:45am which will focus on preparing students for these sacraments. Through engaging lessons and materials, children will be invited into a more intimate relationship with God and a deeper discovery of a life of faith nourished by the Word of God.

Ignite (Grades 4-5)

Ignite is a group designed specifically for our 4th and 5th graders who have been welcomed into the fullness of the life of the Church through the completion of their Sacraments of Initiation. Ignited by the Holy Spirit and nourished by Jesus in the Eucharist, 4th and 5th graders are invited to join us to explore what it means to be an Apostle of Jesus, sent into the world as witnesses to the faith.

First Reconciliation (Grades 2 & Up)

First Reconciliation Sacramental Preparation at Our Lady of Fatima Parish provides the necessary foundation to receive God's grace of healing through confession. Children who are in 2nd grade (or higher) and are participating in religious education (such as Catholic school, Sacrament RE classes, CGS, or an approved homeschool program) are invited to begin preparation for First Reconciliation.

Confirmation & First Eucharist

Confirmation and First Eucharist Sacramental Preparation at Our Lady of Fatima Parish provides the necessary foundation to become fully initiated Catholics and receive the fullness of God's nourishment at the Eucharistic table. Children who have received their First Reconciliation and are participating in religious education (such as Catholic school, Sacrament RE classes, CGS, or an approved homeschool program) are invited to begin preparation for Confirmation and First Eucharist.
