During the Thanksgiving and Easter holidays, Our Lady of Fatima Parish comes together to provide boxes of food to less fortunate families. Volunteers assemble empty boxes for parishioners to fill with non-perishable food items. Volunteers then process filled boxes and distribute them to more than 350 families from our Parish, two other parishes, and five organizations. Cash donations defray the cost of perishable items added to each family’s box.
This is a ministry where individuals and entire families can participate. Be sure to watch for upcoming food basket signup events. It takes an army of volunteers to process all these boxes, and we would love to add your name to our list of helpers! See photos from our recent food box drive.

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver is a community-based Christian homeownership program that builds and sells homes to hardworking families in need of decent housing. Our ministry is based on the conviction that to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, we must reflect Christ’s love in our own lives by loving and caring for one another. The Our Lady of Fatima Parish community has helped to sponsor and build 10 homes since 2009 and is a member of the Habitat Helpers faith coalition.
Please consider supporting this life-changing ministry. Construction expertise is not required, and we have many non-construction jobs. Volunteers must be 16 years or older to volunteer on the construction site. Please signup to build at Habitat Volunteer Hub.

Membership in the Queen of Peace Rosary Circle, of the Altar & Rosary Society, consists of both men and women. We make cord and wire rosaries at home to be distributed to students, RCIA candidates, youth receiving First Communion and Confirmation, families for baptisms, weddings and funerals, incarcerated individuals, and the homebound. On average, we make and distribute 850 rosaries every month. We also make rosaries to be sold at the Altar & Rosary Society Religious Goods Sale or by special order. Proceeds from these sales are used to purchase rosary making supplies.

The Respect Life Ministry at Our Lady of Fatima promotes the dignity and worth of all human life from the moment of fertilization to natural death as a reflection of our Catholic faith and God’s loving creation of us in His image. We believe respect for life is fostered through prayer, fasting, education, alms giving, and activist opportunities.
Abortion is certainly a key issue, but we also address euthanasia, contraception, embryonic stem cell research, and capital punishment. Our ministry seeks to share information with the parish and develop opportunities for involvement in community efforts. All parishioners are welcome to participate in any of our ministry activities.

The St. Cecilia Circle, of the Altar & Rosary Society, is a ministry for those who simply love to sing, even if the voice is less than perfect. Monthly on the 3rd Saturday, we conduct a "sing-along" at Applewood Place on 28th & Youngfield in Wheat Ridge. Join us as we lift spirits and bring smiles to the faces of elders in our community.
